About Us

RSG Reptiles consists of a family who's love of animals turned into something so much more!

Robert

I have been working with animals all of my life. My passion for reptiles started quite a few years ago when we brought home our first baby Royal Python. The list grew and grew from there and we currently are home to 17 different reptiles.

Our biggest goal is to re-home reptiles that are sick or can't be looked after anymore for whatever the reason may be. We want to be able to give all animals the chance at having a forever home and being loved for the rest of their lives.

Susan

I was never a huge fan of reptiles - don't get me wrong, I loved to look at them and they fascinated me with their different colours and personalities, but holding snakes is the one thing that I have a slight fear about. That's one reason why I love this profession as I've slowly learnt to overcome my fears.

George

My Mum & Dad are the ones who do a lot of the work but I've grown up with reptiles all my life. Having animals in the house at a young age really helped me to learn, understand and appreciate all the effort that goes into looking after these amazing creatures and it makes everything worth while. It's very hard to not love these animals and their personalities give us joy and make us smile everyday.

It makes me so proud when we can rescue and save an animal who is at the brink of death like Pancake.

Success Story

Pancake is a 16ft Burmese python who was rescued after being found in the back of a shop extremely dehydrated and had been starved. Her skin was all saggy and when sliding on the floor she was "flat as a pancake" We were fortunate enough to be able to bring her home and with our love (and plenty of food and vet visits) she was back to being her usual, bubbly self. She loved getting out and exploring around our living room, getting stroked on the head and was such a happy girl. She is now with her forever home being involved in school / party encounters where she is now called " Princess Pancake" after everyone fell in love with her.
